Vay are now operating a safe, affordable, and sustainable door-to-door mobility service in the Las Vegas, US and will soon begin scaling to other locations in the USA, Europe & beyond. Our Vay Drive service is a driverless delivered, by the minute car rental service, creating an exciting, safe & affordable experience for all. As a Mobile Engineer on our Mobility team, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering Vay’s remote driving technology directly to end-users, making a tangible impact on scaling our business. You’ll contribute to the development of our mobile-first product, addressing unique challenges that lie at the intersection of traditional mobility and advanced technology. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, engaging in discussions about requirements, UX, and product objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include developing our React-Native mobile application and enhancing our backend-for-frontend API. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with experts from diverse engineering fields, such as electrical and data engineering, to drive impactful outcomes at a company-wide level.
